Where I am employed, Teddy Bears Anonymous “Erin’s dad” delivered 4 lrg bags of teddy bears to be given out to any children who come through the department. On behalf of my department I’d like to send out a Huge thank-you! It brightens a child’s day to receive one of the bears and we will all remember Erin through her gift.
Thank You,
Lynea D

My 2 year old son was recently in Emergency as he had cut his head open. He received a Bobcat TY Beanie Baby named “Tracks” from Teddy Bears Anonymous. It helped him feel better right away and he has been sleeping with it ever since. I just wanted to say thank you!

Our 2 year old son was recently in the hospital and received a Halloween teddy bear from Teddy Bear’s Annonymous. What a wonderful way to make the little people feel more comfortable when they are sick and afraid. Thank-you for making a difference!

My 16 month old daughter was admitted to the Pasqua Hospital on November 9th for a Day Surgery Procedure. In admitting, she received a beautiful “Ty” purple bunny from “Teddy Bears Anonymous”. The bunny was with her pre op, during the operation and post op. I believe that it made the transition into the OR and away from us much easier. She loves the bunny and cuddles it all the time!!! Thank you to Erin and her family for touching my family with your daughter’s love and your love for her!!!!!

I just wanted to thank you for setting up this program in memory of your daughter. My 4 year old son Jaxon received a bear when we arrived at ER at the General Hospital on Tuesday. He was so sick we rushed him in and didn’t bring anything of comfort with us.
The pediatrician thought he may have menengitis so he underwent blood tests, IV and a lumbar puncture. The little bear that he got helped him through all of this, and he cuddled him while we waited for the results.
Fortunately he did not have menengitis, but he was hospitalized for the rest of the week and the little bear stayed by his side and has a place of honour in his room now.
We have made a donation in order that other children may benefit from this comfort.

We took our daughter to the pasqua hospital for an extensive eye exam and she recieved a koala bear puppet. Anything she had to have done the koala did it first to see if it hurt or not. I just want to say THANK YOU for making her appointment that much easier on her and us.

I work at the Pasqua Hospital Eye Centre, I have seen many young Children coming up to our ward carrying a Teddy Bear which they received from Admitting. Within the last several months we have had to remove the toys and books from our floor due to H1N1 pandemic, this use to pass time for our young ones while waiting for a Dr visit or test. This teddy bear is tightly under their little arms..and is a Huge Ice breaker for the staff to talk to the Children about the animals they have with them , what their name is and so on. I wish to give a huge Thank you to Teddy Bears Anonymous for helping to build this trust issue between the staff and some very scared and nervous kids..You have Really helped the staff and many many Children …Keep up the Good Work…and Thank You Again

We recently took our three year old son to Emergency for what we thought was a broken arm. He was in great discomfort but really perked up when the staff gave him an adorable Gund cow. What a wonderful way to honour your daughter. With our sincere thanks!
